Alpha Methyl Styrene Dimer (AMS D) is a dimer of Alpha Methyl Styrene (AMS) and is primarily used as a chemical intermediate in the production of a variety of chemicals such as AMS, Dicumene, and other flavor and fragrance products. AMS D has several applications in the plastics industry, particularly in the production of heat-resistant acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resins. It is also used in the production of pigments, paints, and adhesive agents. AMS D is a colorless liquid with a high boiling point and is soluble in most organic solvents.
