First success on value from by-products – AMS recovery and tar use as fuel.

First downstream integration of DDP.
1992
Phenol downstream DPO based on indigenously developed heterogeneous process started. ION Chemicals wins the DISR and Acharya PC Ray awards for innovation.

Downstream integration to DIPH starts. HG tolling starts.

Phenol downstream NP starts. Captive power generation (GTG) starts.

AMS-D and ACP starts.

TMCON and IPH downstream starts.
